About The Last Lantern

The Last Lantern is a top-down survival roguelite set in a forest at night. Hordes of creatures pour out of the dark and you have one goal: keep your lantern alive for 20 minutes, until dawn. You only move; your weapons attack on their own. Collect light gems to level up, choose one of three upgrade cards and combine weapons and boosts into strong builds. Max out a weapon and open a chest to evolve it into a stronger form. Face bosses, explore three maps, pick a difficulty and unlock more than 40 lantern keepers, each with a different starting build. Every run plays out differently.

How to play

Move with the on-screen joystick (drag your finger or the mouse anywhere) or with WASD or the arrow keys. Your weapons fire automatically, so focus on dodging and positioning. Pick up gems to fill the XP bar; at each level up, choose 1 of 3 cards to get a new weapon, upgrade one or gain a passive boost. Open chests to evolve maxed weapons. Grab hearts to heal. Survive until 20:00 to bring the dawn and win. Press P to pause.
